Effective date: August 5, 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how the Wavely mobile application (“the App”, “we”) handles information when you use it on Android or iOS.
We do not require accounts and do not ask you for personal information. Your favorites, your archive of applied wallpapers, and which wallpapers you have unlocked are stored only on your device and never leave it. Wallpapers you download are saved to your device’s gallery or photo library at your request.
The App downloads wallpaper images and a content catalog from our content delivery network, provided by Cloudflare. Standard technical data — such as your IP address — is processed by the CDN in order to deliver those files, as with any download over the internet.
The App uses the following services to understand how it is used and to detect crashes. These services may collect device identifiers and usage data:
You can reset your advertising identifier, or stop apps from using it, in your device settings — Android: Settings → Google → Ads; iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
This data is processed by those providers under their own policies: Google Privacy Policy · Yandex Privacy Policy.
This version of the App does not display advertising. Note that the analytics service described in section 3 still reads your advertising identifier; what is absent here is advertising itself, not that identifier.
On iOS, the App asks for your permission before any tracking across other companies’ apps and websites (App Tracking Transparency). Declining changes nothing about what the App does for you.
You can clear all locally stored data at any time by clearing the App’s image cache in Settings, or by uninstalling the App.
The App is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
We may update this policy as the App changes. The effective date above always reflects the current version.
